Choosing and Activating a Store Theme

Every new store starts on Sellr's default theme. If you want a different look, you can browse and activate other themes from your dashboard - this only ever changes your store, never anyone else's.

Browsing themes

1. Go to Dashboard → Themes.
2. You'll see every theme currently available on the platform, including the default.

Activating a theme

1. Find the theme you want in Dashboard → Themes.
2. Click Activate.
3. Your storefront updates immediately - no downtime, no re-publishing products.

You can switch back to the default theme (or any other) at any time the same way.

Customizing your accent color

Regardless of which theme you're using, you can set your own accent color:

1. Go to Dashboard → Themes.
2. Use the accent color picker to choose a color that matches your brand.
3. This color is used for buttons, prices, and highlights across your storefront.

Uploading a new theme

If you or a developer has built a custom theme package (a zipped folder with a theme.json manifest and view files):

1. Go to Dashboard → Themes → Upload.
2. Select the .zip file.
3. Once uploaded, it appears in your themes list just like any built-in one, ready to activate.

Uploading a theme only adds it to your available list - it doesn't activate it or change your storefront until you explicitly click Activate.
