Delivery, Pickup & Dine-in: Choosing How Customers Get Their Order
07 Aug 2026
By default, every store ships with Delivery turned on - customers enter an address at checkout and you send the order out. If that's not the whole story for your business, you can also turn on Pickup (customers collect in person) and Dine-in (for food and hospitality sellers), independently of how they pay.
Step 1: Turn on the methods you offer
- Go to Dashboard → Settings.
- Open the Fulfillment & Email tab.
- Flip on any combination of Delivery, Pickup, or Dine-in.
Each one saves the moment you toggle it - no separate save button needed.
Step 2: What customers see at checkout
- Only one method turned on? Checkout applies it automatically - customers won't see a choice to make.
- More than one turned on? A "How would you like to get this?" picker appears at the top of checkout, and the delivery address field only shows up when Delivery is selected.
A safety net
If you ever switch all three off by mistake, checkout quietly falls back to collecting a delivery address rather than breaking - but it's worth keeping at least one on deliberately so you're in control of what customers see.
Where you'll see it afterward
Every order now shows which method the customer picked - on the order list (as a badge for anything other than Delivery), on the order detail page, and in the WhatsApp alert you get the moment the order comes in, so you know how to prep it without opening the dashboard.
